Perseid meteor shower

I won't be able to do this because it's London and Not Dark Enough, but the forecast is for clear skies by 4am. If you're somewhere dark, you might still catch some meteors.

Not catch, literally, which would be a bit warm, but catch as in watch.

We have clear skies here in Somerset, but the moon is nearly full, very bright, and it's washing-out all the visible stars to the South. Ten minutes' observation, and nothing to be seen.

Oh, we are going through a meteor shower? Excellent.

I've always wanted to see a meteor show but it's either been raining/cloudy or I was in the wrong part of the world time wise. Still I am thrilled if I see a shooting star. :D
