Boiler got fixed. Jayne came home and phoned the guy who installed it. He said something along the lines of 'oh, sounds like she twiddled the grey thing' and told her to turn itall the way to the left until water comes out and it clicks, and then the boiler would stop making water go outside. She did, and it did. And she is on unmetered water, so it will only have cost the heating of the water that went outside rather than the water as well; I'm still sorry I didn't run a hose from there to the water butt, but never mind.

Moved much stuff yesterday. Tiring, as I didn't really sleep much on Sunday night from worrying about the boiler. Today I am mostly tidying; I had a rehearsal earlier, which went well, and I need to do some horn practice. Later on there is a student's union meeting about the revalidation of the BMus degree, so I'll attend that and then go to the Borders meet if there is time.

This week I am implementing a strict 22.00 bedtime. Such a fader! but if I don't do this I will wilt and die from sleep deprivation.

i am useless at going to bed early. also, my mother and her bloke seem quite able to go to sleep at midnight and get up at some ridiculous time in the morning (7.30). weirdness.

Mmm.
22:00 bedtime.
I must get back to that.
The first two weeks of school I was strict - but then I started thinking "Oh, I've got this all under control," and last week was 23+. This week I can hardly open my eyes in the morning.
Lesson learned.
