To be honest, that was my second thought.

Thought 1: "Gosh, they've all done a grade higher than we expected. They must have worked really hard on their revision. Suddenly all that study support I provided seems worthwhile."
Thought 2: "Or they've all gone up because we were basing the predicted grades on previous years' papers, which were more difficult."

Coming soon on LJ: why the easier/more difficult question just doesn't make sense without definitions. :)

I remember when I was doing A-Levels the past papers seemed to cover more topics than the ones we actually ended up doing for real.
