Last night went to the pub to meet up with Snow and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
koresh. It was nice. Other people there included wintrmute, mstevens, ali_anarres, and others. I ate five-bean chilli on tortilla chips, and drank water. I saw wintrmute's bike, which was a bit hard to see in the dark but looked very classic and practical. I did some knitting on the train. I came home, I went to bed.
My room is a tip and I have people coming to visit. I strongly suspect the mess is going to end up piled into one corner again, which I am not particularly happy about, but it will have to do for now. Having said that, I may yet get some laundry done and out of the way (read: off the floor), and there is some stuff we will take to the second-hand shop on Friday afternoon, so it will be out of the way...
I'm reluctant to put visitors in the back bedroom, which is still unoccupied. I would have to hoover it again, and stuff, and anything that kicks my butt into cleaning my room up a little more is actually good.
I need to further organise my hair-making supplies. I suspect this will involve wooden crates from the greengrocer, and a lot of the Handywoman's Secret Weapon. I'm not sure; I'll have to see waht it looks like after I get loads of stuff out of my room.
