Runninning

Have just been for a run again. Since I've not been feeling well I didn't want to push it too much with the increase in actual running time, I'm still coughing a bit and stuff. So I ran 300 paces and walked 100 paces, four times (with a long break in the middle for a busker's meeting). I found it easier to find a comfortable stride this time, even though it has been a week since I've done anything... however, I noticed that when I do the walking in between my tendency is to walk quite slowly, instead of quite quickly as I should do. Once I noticed this I tried to keep my walking speed up as well.

So on Saturday I need to go for a long, brisk walk interspersed with a bit of running, and tomorrow I need to do some sport that is not running for a half hour. I'm thinking poi. Walking hardly counts because I do so much of it.

I don't think, somehow, that I'll be able to run 10K continuously by the end of November. It would be kindof cool, though.

Coo! Keep it up Kathryn... I'm sure you will find many benefits from this activity. Sometimes I think I should start...
It's Thanksgiving weekend here, time for Ten Thousand Villages, "African" music and such. Lots of fun. Nice weather too. Turkey tomorrow or on Monday, don't know which. It really depends on Harvey's work schedule. He is doing homework! Yea!
