Well... they might be rigging the results. Without server logs, we don't know anything for sure. There might well be people out there vote-bombing in favour of one or more of the answers (and judging from the discussion to which you linked, there almost certainly are).
No web poll should be taken seriously. They are far too easy to rig by unscrupulous voters or unscrupulous organisers. Anyone claiming otherwise is clueless, lying or both.
Oh, I seem to be in a minority of 3%. Anyway, they probably just have one of those things that goes through every few hours and strips out multiple votes from the same IP, to account for people hitting refresh (or indeed using scripts).
