I was on the way to a student, talking to Flicky on the phone. "I wish it would snow properly," I complained, "rather than trying to fob us off with this nonsense stuff." About two seconds later, it started to snow.
:)))))
After I was done teaching I went out into the back garden with the boys (two of them I teach and one is their younger brother) and made snow angels and a snowman. It was great fun. I'm not sure whether they had more fun, or me. I could do more but I have to go to a meeting tonight (YAWN) and I have stuff to get done first.
I can't currently tell whether it is still snowing lightly or there is just snow blowing off the trees and rooftops.
The roads tomorrow morning are going to be a bit of a nightmare, especially if this continues or restarts. They are better than they were last year, but I don't think there is really enough grit for teensy cars with no snow tyres. I plan to get up early enough towalk skate to Golders Green tomorrow morning if necessary, although if it doesn't snow any more I think it should be alright. Anyway I won't find out whether it's goign to snow anymore until I wake up, so I'll plan to wake a bit earlier for a nice 45-minute walk (takes me 30 minutes normally but I will be carrying and it will be icy; shouldn't slow me down too much but good to plan for it anyway).
