Okay, I do have a new housemate. Welcome, mupstasia, to our household, if such an entity can be called a household.

I cannot begin to express my relief at having found someone sane to stay here. Having all four rooms filled is good... but knowing that we won't be in a position where we might have to take whoever we can get (or at least not until anyone leaves, and they have to give one month's notice!) is really, really cool. I can now stop worrying about that quite so much, and this is indeed a good thing.
