I am at Paddington. I got off the Circle Line and went and bought a copy of Private Eye and then they shut the circle line because of an incident at Edgware Road - I figured just another bad morning. Went upstairs for a cup of tea, came down again to find everything cancelled.

Feeling VERY lucky right now. However, I'm pretty much stranded at Paddington for the moment.

Can't get on e-mail from dodgy ReadyToSurf connection, so will have to check for comments. Phone network completely clogged, of course.

But yes, I'm safe.
