a) I don't have a hamster b) If I had a hamster, I wouldn't carry it around with me just in case my laptop batteries died. I might install a generator on the wheel though. c) if I wanted to use aminal-powered generator thingum I'd probably use the bicycle generator (http://www.otherpower.com/otherpower_experiments_bicycle.html) or some variation on it.
