Now I want one of these. Silly ewt. Not now! Even if I could justify taking money from the RESP for it, which I'm not sure I can, I don't really have the cashflow just at the moment.

Still, it's something to save up for. With that sort of battery life it might even be useful, but if the battery doesn't do as well as that, spares are available. Or maybe I will actually get around to making some sort of wind-up thing.

I don't think a 70CT would quite fit the bill, though. Although they are all teh cheep, and would be great for playing around with windy-up chargers and the like.

Ultra Light Weight Laptop Only 145g

He's hoping buyers don't notice that 145g is the price of the DVD player, and that the laptop actually weighs 1.43Kgs.

They are *cute*, aren't they? It took me quite some effort to convince myself I really could not justify buying one. A friend of mine has one of the old ones (bought it new when it was in fact a laptop with fairly sensible specs) and I have been drooling over them ever since. Maybe one day... (But for now, the MDA and my laptop will do the job just fine...)

Yes, they are a nifty line, I still have the libretto 50ct (just like the 70, only slower), after having 8 pound laptops from 1992 on, it was nice to have one that weighed less than two pounds. I want a U100 too. Ah, money. Then again, I don't walk for transport the way I used to, and I really like a big screen.
