ewtLast Christmas, Mom gave ALL of us this emergency car thingy, which entails 1] flashlight, 2] hammer with which to break windows, and 3] knife with which to cut seatbelts.
A friend of mine just had her life saved by the seatbelt-cutting bit of this. If you drive and you don't keep something like this in your glove compartment, please change that. If you're in an accident you may need to be able to get out of your car in a hurry.
