Yesterday consisted of wandering the Science Museum with [livejournal.com profile] hairyears and his father, who is delightful, rehearsing for a concert, and playing in a concert. Must get up to Leicester again. In my Spare Time. Yes. I'd never been to the Science Museum before. Must go back. So many pretty things! And it's free! Must resist the shop though. I did notice they have those solar powered rainbow makers. Cute.

After the concert I played "O, Canada" offstage, then allowed myself to be dragged out for pubbage, made two or three interesting concerts. I think the choir might be a good candidate for a capella settings of some of my grandmother's poetry; I ought to work on some of that this summer as well as transcriptions of Brahms, really. HELP it's July already.

Today I am teaching. And maybe getting to a stitch'n'bitch meet, but I'm not sure.

Low-GI fructose may be bad for you, at least when consumed without some glucose.

I go teach now.

I have one of the solar-powered rainbow makers. It throws pretty rainbows around my room. Plus my wind chimes throw blue circles around my room, so overall it's a very happy place.

I have to admit that I had to look up GI. What will they think of next?
