ewtARSE.
The lady who is supposed to interview me this morning is ill today.
GRAAAAAAH
So, my interview will be 9.30 Monday morning, instead.
And I will go to the interview at Maida Vale at 12.30 the same day.
And then, if I get offered both positions, I have to Make A Decision... which one do I take?
Of course, if Maida Vale job still has more people to interview and Colindale job wants me to start on Tuesday morning, then this doesn't really work, and I'll take the Colindale one.... but if they both want me to start right away then I really could be in a rather good position with this. Remember, ewt, they are interviewing you, but you are also interviewing them.
Go me.
Also this frees up today to do muchly important housey stuff which I have been too exhausted for most of the week. And maybe a much-needed trip to the gym, or a timid excursion on the bicycle. I can also do some more laundry so that my choice of what to wear to the interview is a little wider. I think that if I end up with a more formal office job then I will need to do a wee bit of office-type clothes shopping. :/ Most of my stuff is either very casual (denim skirts, T-shirts, stripey socks) or very formal (club wear, stuff I wear to synagogue, stuff I wear for concerts). I do not have a lot of things in between these extremes.
Why is it that fleece, left in the washer for more than about 3 hours after the wash finishes, gets very stinky, but other things are okay for as long as 36 hours? I dun geddit.
Off I go to change into something more suitable for doing general house stuff in. Grah. And also Graw, since I have a Canadian accent.
