Crafts websites are dangerous. I want this and this and all sorts of other things. Oh yes.

I will be good, and not buy them.

My favorite ones are the ones with "wish lists". That way I can pretend I'm indulging in a wild shopping spree, without actually ruining my budget and causing disaster. I have to be really really really firm with myself, though, because there is a HUGE temptation to um, sort of accidentally on purpose, move items from the Wish List to the Shopping Basket. ... heh.

I got some decoupage sheets this week, I told myself I could spend £5 but when I got to the till it was about £20.
I need to learn to be good as well.

See at least you were good. :-) Unlike me.

Cheap papermaking kit: two cheap picture frames (bought from pound shops) that fit one inside the other. Stretch a bit of net curtain fabric over each one and staple in place. That's your frame and deckle. Away you go.

Speaking of craft sites, are you any good with spinning? And do you know where I could get a spindle a wool from in the UK?

I bought my drop spindle and some fibre from Scottish Fibres (http://www.scottishfibres.co.uk).

This is one of the reasons I'm not buying either; if I don't have time/energy/wherewithal to make a papermaking kit, I almost certainly don't have time to use one that I'd buy.

Hi Daughter Dearest,

You don't need a "kit" for paper making! Just a screen and sponge
