Day

Day was good. Champagne brunch with much lovely food provided by [livejournal.com profile] penguin_worship. Also, I have been given a ball of yarn (almost immediately fingerknitted into the longest cat-toy evar, but I might do something else with it), and a wonderful magic scarf. AND I have been snuggled by the cat, which is most wonderful.

Hair, upon drying, was still just a bit oily. Oops. But it still smelled and felt wonderful, so I'm not too worried. Scalp has been very comfortable all day; it started getting itchy an hour or two ago so now I've put some of the thin liquid stuff on it and it feels much better. I'll give it a rinse tomorrow morning, just with water, to see how it does.

I guess it's a day or so since I posted this poll about the Mammoth Project - if you haven't seen it or filled it out yet, please do have a look. I'll send another reminder out in another few days, I know people are mostly out of their normal routines right now.

Tomorrow - going to see Mummers, whatever those are, then off to proper Christmas Dinner and stuff at [livejournal.com profile] flannelcat's brother's house. There will be a car journey, but I will make myself ginger tea to keep nausea at bay. There will be lots of people, but if I need to hide or rest I can fall asleep without dire consequences. I will miss the cat. Cats are wonderful.

You've never seen a Mummers play (http://freespace.virgin.net/peter.millington1/Mystery_History.htm)?

If you're really lucky, enough of the friends of said mummers will be around so you get the really good heckles. Otherwise it can be a bit uninteresting.
