-pasta sauce made. Too much mackerel I think, but hard to tell. Looks all small in the huge pan but there is several days' worth there. Might add some squash at some point, but that would mean, um, buying squash.
-two types of mushrooms sauteed, juice put into sauce, mushrooms put into refrigerator for quick eating up later in the week
-dill and chive dip made (included run to new corner shop to get Greek yoghurt which is delicious)
-romanescu and carrots cut up into crudites
-bake-for-10-more-minutes French bread rolls put onto pan, oven preheated
-water made hot for pasta so it won't take ages to boil when [livejournal.com profile] hairyears gets here in a few minutes
-jacket potatoes cooked, and wrapped in foil so I can refrigerate and/or transport them. I usually coat them in olive oil and a bit of salt; I'm running low on olive oil so used hemp oil instead. OMG the YUM, I will do this again. I think it helps that they are special named-variety (can't remember the name) purple-skinned Scottish potatoes instead of random white-skinned ones, as well. Tasty tasty, though. Four servings out of a 500g bag, so not too bad in terms of value for money.

do I garlic the rolls or not? At this point I'm thinking not as the pasta sauce has enough garlic in it already. Also I CBA.

I have two tins of mackerel in tomato sauce that I can't eat because they're made with tomato paste which does nasty things to me. I guess I'll give them to [livejournal.com profile] pfy unless someone else is desperate to have them and can meet me before tomorrow night.

A week ago if I'd been as tired as I was earlier (from carrying groceries etc) I would not have been able to cook all evening. I've had very little pain this evening. Yay for the osteopath! I think I'm really about done, though; the ligament/joint pain I've been getting isn't really bothering me much now - still there but much less severe - but my muscles are getting tired, so I should rest before I hurt myself.
