So here I sit at Yakar.

On Friday morning I left not one but TWO messages on the answerphone at the contact number I have for the event today (the only contact number I have, I might add).

There are no messages on the answerphone that have anything to do with it. I tried to phone again and got the answerphone again, have left a message saying they need to get in touch ASAP.

So, I have no CLUE what set-up they want done, if any, or what has been agreed. Or if they can even get into the building! Or if they have cancelled!

I have to leave here no later than 11am to go busking. Their event is meant to start at 11am. If they aren't here early, they'll be kindof screwed. No sign of them yet...

I'm so pissed off I did not check on Thursday whether there was anything happening this weekend.

I'm so annoyed that nobody else told me. I'm annoyed that the people hiring the place didn't phone - really, if they have any set-up needs, it is THEIR responsibility to phone us, not the other way around.

Also, when I got here, the office was unlocked, the computer was on. This should not be. Excuse me while I hurt the Rabbi very badly.

On the plus-side, set-up guy is here, so at least I know if I have to go, nobody is going to be completely stuck.

I cleaned my room a bit this morning, although tehre is now a pile of clothing I am getting rid of sitting in the hallway. The next time I'm really able to take this to a second-hand shop is giogn to be... umm... Friday afternoon. Ick. I suppose I'd better bag it up for the interim.
