laptop for sale
Nov. 13th, 2007 01:08 pmFrom someone else's journal:
It's a Mac powerbook G4, 12" screen.
It's two and a half years old, and comes with Mac OS X 10.3.9.
It has a 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4 processor, and 256 MB of built in memory.
Machine Model: PowerBook G4 12"
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (1.1)
CPU Speed: 1.33 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 256 MB
Bus Speed: 167 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.8.3f1
The battery and mains adaptor were both replaced about six months ago, so they're as good as new. Battery life is about four hours.
I still have the original receipt, box and CDs.
I'm selling only because Paul bought an iMac, so I inherited his old Mac Mini!
It cost me £1000, and I'd be looking for around £300, plus fully insured postage.
Any takers?
(If you're the person selling, if you un-flock the post I'll just link to it instead).
I have to admit to being tempted myself but a) I haven't got £300 to spend on a computer right now. b) I already have a (faster) laptop computer c) I'm about to move house into a smaller space and don't need extra stuff, not even shiny laptop stuff.

I'm still waiting for someone who showed interest in
