419 scam targets music teachers - I don't think I would fall for this myself, but... meh.

Incidentally I always meet students before agreeing properly to teach them or accepting any forward payment.

pfy got me a wonderful CD rack for Christmas. It is big enough to hold all my CDs, I think, and will also function as a side-table for the living room, to go beside the sofa.

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to prohibit discrimination in the provision of goods, services and facilities, includng health care,on the grounds of transsexual or transgender status, at the earliest point possible. I'm appalled we even need a petition for this, folks.

The Class Divide that Grips Britain; seems a bit oversimplified to me, but the main point still stands - if we don't do something to improve conditions, this problem will only become worse.

Advice on beginning BPAL from naamah_darling. It's really weird to read posts from her with no swearing in them at all.
