Jan. 3rd, 2008 01:51 amThe flight was overbooked and they wanted volunteers to go on tomorrow's flight instead, in exchange for a $500 voucher, a hotel stay, and flying business class tomorrow.
So, um, I'm in a hotel now. In Quebec. No idea why the airport is in Ottawa and the hotel is in Gatineau, but it is. I have meal vouchers and stuff.
I'm not going to spend ages online because while I have my laptop, I only have half battery left and the charger is in my checked luggage, which is on its way to London (and I can pick it up at Heathrow when I get there).
I'll update again when I arrive in London For Reals.
