=D I could be like a TV-turning-off spy, secretly silencing the machine until the local news ended.
I do wish there could be more music there and less TV. I understand why people want to watch it - it's a (or maybe THE) major national pastime and it often lets you escape mentally. I'm not completely against TV, but there are so many other things we can do.
And just the way the news is done - well, you know - it drives me insane.
