ewtDoes anyone have a long (long enough to get from the living room to the loft with some slack - probably 20m or 30m would be best) ethernet cable I could borrow or steal or something? This using the computer in the living room all the time thing is getting to be a PITA. Someone said they could give me some but these have not materialised yet and I don't want to be all chasey, I just want to be able to get set up properly. Ideally I need two of these, perhaps three so I have one spare in case things b0rk, but at this point even one would be hugely helpful.
Wireless is another option but at this point requires significantly more yak-shaving than just getting some longer ethernet cables. Maplin want a silly amount of money for either a kit to make my own, or ones that are really stupidly way too long for my needs. I don't know where else to get long ones in London; I'm sure they're around but I don't have time to comb through all the places that might have them.
