Feb. 2nd, 2006 11:09 am12 Steps of Oil Addiction. Thanks to
kathrynrose for the link (no, she isn't me).
I am mostly tired. Missed busking this morning; I've been fighting a sore throat for a few days and I think I probably needed the lie-in.
Busy busy busy. Still lots of academic work to do; I'm scratching away at it slowly. On Monday I go to the chicken lady's house to look after 8 chickens, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and a dog. Practising every day eats more time than I'd like it to, sometimes.
I've been entered for an Aikido grading on 15th April. W00t! Have paid grading fee but must remember to put aside £26 for the course fee, payable on the day; if I'm going to clear a day for a grading I may as well take the opportunity to train with other people.
Other things I must remember: renew Canajan passport! I'll have been in this country for six years come May... I'll have lived in London for six years. I've never lived anywhere for six years! Mind you, different parts of London are very different and have been very different for me. I like the little house I live in now, though, and I hope to be able to stay here until the end of my degree.
Very busy this weekend, but
shevek will likely be in town and I do hope I get to see him.

Date: 2006-02-02 12:07 pm (UTC)You can, in theory, do just the afternoon session and take your grading. Some people do. But doing a whole day of Aikido is well worth your while!
Missed busking. Oops. Still, I suspect that the icy blast that is today's weather would've been no fun with a sore throat.
