My glasses are broken. I can't see. I'm typing this with the aid of my trusty pinhole glasses, but I have far from good vision with them, so please 3exucse the typoes (which are worse because all the stress).

I have a rehearsla at 15.00, which I ahve to go to. I sent a text to the coach saying my glasses are broken and I can't see and he wants mt eo go anyway. I'm not sure what part of 'I can't see' he doesn't understand. I will NOT be able tos ee the music. I'm meant to be treaching after that, which I can probably just about do, and then it is Aikido, which could be... interesting, without glasses, but I'd like to go along and see what Sensei says, anyway.

They are the same broken they were when they broke in August - plstic snapped right actross the middle. The lenses are still fine (okay, the left one is HORRIBLY scratched because they didn't put scratchproof cotaing on it), but there is no good way to hold them onto my fcae. Last time this happened I tried tape and glue but there isn't really enough for tape nad glue to hold onto, so they just kept falling apart.

I wish I'd sorted out contact lenses for choosing new frames. Arsethorns. Arsethorns AND buggeration (gotta hurt).

EDIt: I have an appointment at Vision Express at 12:50. I guess I'd better go and become non-stinky.

Seconded. I'm paranoid about breaking my glasses, so I have 2 pairs plus keep some old ones which are not-good-but-better-than-nothing.

I also have two pairs of glasses - one normal and one sunglasses - I only use them for driving and going to the theatre/cinema/concerts though (a bit short sighted!). Thanks for reminding me - must get my sunglasses unsquished (kiwi_dave accidentally sat on them some time ago when I left them on the passenger seat of my car!)
