Today: academic work. I've just re-scheduled my meeting with Student Services so I don't have to go until Monday. This is good because it gives me time to hand some more assignments in beforehand. Woot. I still have a horn lesson today, so I'll spend some time practising first and then some time at Trinity doing computery academic work, so my lip is warmed up but rested for my lesson.

Didn't make it to Aikido last night; remembered some work I really wanted to get done, also my head was being all hurty and I really wasn't feeling well. I feel better for a good night's sleep, again, but I'd like the head hurtiness to stop. Gop! Poor ewt.

It's cheesecake festival (Shavuot), but I really don't want to spend the £15 it usually costs me for cheesecake ingredients. I don't want to halve the recipe because it's fiddly enough already and I know it works (and halving recipes with things like cheesecake is not entirely straightforward). I don't want to ask other people to pay for the ingredients and then make cheesecake at them. I guess I will wait until after exams are done and I'm busking more, and then make cheesecake. Celebration cheesecake. Yesh.

A guy on Freecycle wants old broken camera lenses for making a home-made telescope. I don't have any, but I'm intrigued; have e-mailed to ask him if he's writing it up anywhere online.

poetpaladin soon, I hope. Putting dollar amounts on waking hours, leisure hours, and so on is an interesting exercise, albeit one I don't want to do in detail right now - with the flexible working time and income I have the formulae would be quite scary.

I want to do this with purr's old screen.

SO PRETTY. Maths transformed into music. I want to set some of these for horn. So cool.
