Those are probably a size too big for me. Maybe the next person to reply will find them just right ;)

Could fit, could be too small. UK sizes are OdD.

If you're seriously interested in buying them I'll let you try them on.

42 should be right, yes.

It's just that I've bought size 8 shoes here that fitted me fine, and have found other size 8 shoes that were too small.

I'm tempted.

They might be very nice in a theatrical kind of way. For those special occasions. :o)

Let me sleep on it, and let's see how the bidding goes, since you already have two bids on them. I guess the people bidding now are more interested in a sort of 'everyday' wear, and that would be more suitable.

90 quid for a pair of second hand boots? Isn't that a trifle... over-optimistic?

Not really. Transmuters are hard to come by, something of a niche market I guess you could say - and they aren't made in leather any more. I've seen them sell for more than that before now.

Given they're at £31 only a few days into the auction I'm pretty sure bids will exceed my reserve price, which is not as high as the set Buy It Now price. Most of the bidding tends to happen toward the end of the auction...

When I bought it a few years ago I got it from the craft department in Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if they still stock it, though.

Ok, but seriously, can anyone really walk in platforms like that?

Also: can you imagine how crazy the height of those platforms would look with my size shoe?

I have been looking in Walmart for the last few months and they told me they have discontinued it.
I hope someone can find a supply somewhere since I am also looking for it in Western Canada.
