A pair of these found on top of my laundry basket several days ago. I have no clue where they came from. Socks do not usually materialise in pairs like this...

Such are the ways of socks, really, is about all I can say. If nobody else claims them in a few days then I will assume they are yours.

I'll check at home to make sure that I don't have them, too... Oh, and I do not exactly have a shortage of socks, so don't bother mailing them or anything, just give them to the next person coming this way (or me, if I happen to be visiting again soon).
