Sep. 23rd, 2006 12:27 amShana Tova, folks.
I should so be asleep.
Wandered around Camden with
mstevens today and bought myself a one of these (but in black of course) as a reward for finishing all my work. I like it very much. It just fits A5 stuff, which is incredibly useful. Through adjustment of the straps I can use it as either a backpack, sporran, or shoulder bag - also useful. See, my "belt with pouches on" strategy worked for a while, but I wore the pouches out very quickly, and a lot of times a belt over top of what I'm wearing isn't quite right, and the pouches are all too small for A5 paperwork. A shoulder bag that is always a shoulder bag will kill my back in fairly short order if I wear it a lot, which I tend to do. A bumbag is usually not quite big enough, and finding ones I could put A5 paper in was difficult at best, and there are times when it's just too informal. Carrying a larger backpack around all the time seems like a splendid idea... until I have to also carry my horn, which is most practical to carry as a backpack, adn then suddnely I have this horrible second backpack with trailing bits... so yes. Now the challenge is not to overfill the thing.
I'm going to bed.
Sleep well, all.

We shall have to club together and buy miniature instances of each and every item of impedimenta that you carry around in the Great Big Backpack Bag of Being Baggy: feel free to start an LJ-Meme by listing the items within it.
