I am sitting in the Pembury Tavern with a cup of tea, a pint of water, and a wifi connection.

This is civilisation... and I'll probably even get some work done, because there isn't any horrible background music.

I so want a MacBook. Can't go on borrowing this machine indefinitely!

Yes, one of my favorite things to do is to sit at the local all-night coffeehouse, drinking chai and working or writing on my laptop. I usually bring big headphones so I can listen to my own music, though, Live365.com if it's a good connection :) I find that it gets me out of the house, stimulates the creative juices, and is a good excuse for a sweet treat.
