Good morning!

Sunny blue skies today. Hooray! I might even venture Outside.

Yesterday was a bit of a write-off due to mood stuff, so my to-do list from yesterday has essentially followed me into today. Bah. I did make further additions to the soup, though - the rest of the spaghetti squashes from the garden, also the acorn squash [livejournal.com profile] owlfish brought ages ago. YUM. And as previously mentioned, [livejournal.com profile] hennes solved a minor mystery to do with light fixtures in the living room, so now we have a good daylight-spectrum CFL in there instead of the very old, very dim orange one. That's been put in the kitchen drawer as a backup in case we do need a spare at some point.

[livejournal.com profile] hennes is all gone now.

Academic
Sort those papers! Horn lesson tomorrow, do not forget. Do practise at some point.

Creative
Still need to find the right crochet hook. Possibly getting some materials for wingbuilding today in Kentish Town, but no purchase yet as I've not received the deposit agreed upon; frustrating.

Secretarial
Pretty much as yesterday. I'm not going into Trinty today so I'm not going to do the printing-out-forms thing, it can wait until tomorrow. Ditto student oystercard thingum.

I have a metric assload of filing to do. I need to sort out a filing cabinet soon. That and every other damn thing. So sick of not having any money. Please to let the cashcard get here today.

Bah.

Phonecalls, then.

Planning
-rinsing my laundry that I didn't hang up a few days ago if it needs it, and hanging it up this time
-cleaning up kitchen in the aftermath of squashbaking
-lovely lovely soup for lunch
-appointment in Kentish Town
-Pembury Tavern.

Wishing
I weren't so skint. It's really uncomfortable.

Wondering
Is it just me, or is eBay getting slower and slower and slower these days?

Hey, geeks! Can you build me a one of these but twice as bright and half the price? How much do super-bright LEDs cost anyway?

LiteBook have released the LiteBook Elite, which is small and cute and can run off lion batteries. RAWR. I'd love to get a closer look at one of these. They keep making them smaller and smaller.

http://tinyurl.com/yzqxp2 what about that? Maplin oddly do not do superbright large white LEDs only superbright red/othercolours.

Possibly, but that's 20quid for 25 lights that I'd have to disassemble and re-wire as opposed to 60 quid for 72 lights that already do what they say... so I'm looking at spending about the same amount of money and a lot mnore time. I don't know if the maplin ones are twice as bright because they helpfully don't list brightness.

Worth thinking about though.
