They arrived very late. I get £10 off for having to wait, though. Also there are two bottles of wine that I did not order. Ho-hum. And it's not like I frittered away the time on the internet or anything, oh, wait.

I do not need to buy tinned tomatoes for quite some time. That is good. I'm not sure how I'll get all this into the cupboards, though. I think when I get back from Brighton a thorough clear-out of the kitchen cupboards is in order.

Now to try and tidy - quickly - and go back to Leytonstone. With gnocchi. Mmmm. Gnocchi.

There must be an Italian knock-knock joke in there somewhere.

Tesco delivered my stuff 26 hours late, and I only received 3.99 off! Should I have complained more?

Ocado, because I like the John Lewis Partnership a little more than perhaps I should (mostly because their customer service has never left me ranting, and most other places have).

Only one (very minor) substitution, and the driver checked before leaving it with me that it was okay and I was happy to pay for it.

Ah. Yeah, they sound a lot better than Tesco in general, judging by what people have said. I'll give them a shot next time I order.

Buying hundreds of tins of tomatoes in one swoop is definitely the way to go. The nice young men from Sainsbury's probably had a long soak in a hot bath when they finished their delivery round after my mammoth shopping.
