Ill today; sore throat and nausea. I think it's just a cold/'flu thing. After waking up very early (well, for me lately - I've been getting up at 8 and I was awake by 6) with hip pain and having breakfast and painkillers and doing lightbox I crashed out again for a nap. Pain still very much in my awareness but isn't so bad now, which is good, but I'm still not really up to much, like, oh, moving my head.
I had really odd dreams involving all of London being covered in huge thick black smoke. Not nice. Then I had nicer dreams about cats, though.
Speaking of cats,
exmoor_cat needs a job. Please give him one.
PLNS for weekend: This afternoon, eBaying some stuff if I'm feeling a little better, resting if I'm not. Tonight, B-Movie. Tomorrow, teaching, then getting
pfy to schlep some computers from my place to his. As in, I can't lift stuff but I have the wheely suitcase and I know where the computers are in all the mess. I've given him first refusal bascially because he's my boyfriend and he's sweet and stuff, and to be fair he had expressed an interest in the laptops before. If those others of you who were looking for laptop bits are still interested, he may well post what's left over when he's done.
Sunday - teaching. May or may not make it to Games at the Pembury Tavern; I can't go from early but might be just in time to get last food orders in. If Twister goes along I shall not be playing. It's up there with yoga on the list of things to avoid when afflicted by hypermobile joints.
A while back I asked people to suggest poems they'd like to see set to music. I'm asking again. Give me brain foods! Pleeeeeeease?
I bet turkey is going to get cheaper now. Whee.
