walkit.com is a route planner for walking, it tells you approximate walking times for slow, medium and fast walkers, as well as approximate calories burned and carbon saved in comparison to car, taxi or bus. Currently only covers Central London but hopefully they'll expand. Link from

Osteopath yesterday, it went well. They're really quite serious about the new sleeping position so I will have to sort out some sort of inflatable or beanbag soon. Last night I tried with my huge blankie folded up under my legs but it was not quite tall enough even with a pillow on top and so I wasn't quite comfortable; I think I ended up sleeping on my side mostly. Bah. Possibly something like this perhaps.
I'm allowed to start Ki-Aikido again but only on Thursdays, not Mondays because Mondays I usually get moved about by the osteopath and it would be too easy to do something wrong and mess it up. So, I'll watch on Mondays.
I appear to have a cold; not a huge surprise, I've been fighting something off for a week or more. Phoned students to and left a message find out whether they still want me to come. I'd like to, since they missed lesson last week as well, but I've been told off for turning up ill before to that family so I will let the mother decide, there's no point pissing people off.
This afternoon - teaching, maybe, then Pembury. Fersure. But I might leave a bit early with
pfy, and I'm going to try not to talk too much if I still have the Sore Throat from Hell.
Now? Washing up.

Date: 2007-02-13 01:30 pm (UTC)Although something that would be cool would be an inflatable cube, with a cover 3-4 inches thick that can be filled with the polystyrene beads, so that there is some padding but you use less polystyrene.
Too much thinking. Brain melty now.
