Finally someone has bid upon the boots! I was beginning to worry they would not sell...

In other news: I am very tired. Piss off. I have had a mostly unproductive week at both jobs. I must get to first office job quite early on Monday morning and finish up one or two things before the return of the Director.

Today is Friday and I normally would not be working, but since second office job boss is away I will be going to that office. It is weird though, not leaving the house at 8.30 (in fact I will leave at about 9.20 so as to do the banking before I arrive), when that is what I have been doing for the last little while. Amazing how quickly my body tries to adopt routines. Right now I have plenty of time and I feel like I am behind. Thankfully Friday is a short day at that office, so I do have my afternoon free for the first time in what seems like ages.

Today: buy challah, pay some bills, find out about taking next Thursday off from office job 1 as paid holiday - can I do it or should I just pull a sickie instead (the situation is that my boss at Office Job 2 is only back for 4 days before going away again - Thrusday morning, Firday morning, Monday and Tuesday. She'd really like me to be around Thursday morning to let her know what has been going on. The reason I'm willing to take time off from other, higher-paid job for this? She's going away again for two weeks, during which I will have approximately double my usual hours of work there).? finish clothing/hair for wedding tomorrow, clean kitchen, clean room, schedule for the rest of July and August, finish meal plan for next week (nearly done now!). If I have time, some grocery shopping; food for Sunday, at least. Packing stuff to take with me tomorrow (map, spare roll of duct tape, snacks... you'd think I was going on an expedition, not to a wedding, but never mind). Anywhere in Camden that is good for breakfast (vegetarian)?

Tempted by Slimelight on Saturday night. Seriously tempted. On the other hand, I am still in serious need of catching up on my sleep (boring, I know, sleep is for the weak, yada yada yada - I guess I'm just a fader and that is that).

Sunday: more cleaning up, more grocery shopping, and some cooking ahead for the week (soup, pasta, burritos, and fruit snack thingies). Possibly acquisition of containers that actually have lids to go with them, although I'm starting to wonder if there is any point - all the containers I have now used to have lids, and many many have been thrown out by someone at one point or another. I don't get it. You see a random lid - one without writing on it saying 'this is yoghurt', no less - so you chuck it out instead of a) washing it and putting it back or b) putting it back (if it is already clean). Who? Why?

Now I go pretend at people that I am human, for about four hours.

I think you did a pretty good job of the human-pretence thing. Try it with more sleep next time - although sleep-deprivation seems to be a common theme in your recent (public) journal entries. Along with grah, ergh, gah and the ever-popular UNK UNK UNK UNK.
