GP IN "TAKING EWT SERIOUSLY" SHOCKER!!
Mar. 12th, 2007 05:53 pmWent to see my GP this morning.
She looked in my ears, and yes, the right one does seem irritated and unhappy - I've been prescribed ear drops with steroids in, which should calm things down. Hard to tell whether it was infected or whether the irritation is just from the drops I was using to get the wax out, but either way steroids should make the hurtiness actually stop.
Also, I mentioned that the osteopath had noticed a slight heart murmur, so she actually had a listen and then she hummed and hawed a bit and couldn't decide whether it was actually indicative of trouble, so she will send me for an ECG.
This is the same GP who previously told me to ignore my aches and pains and go running.
What happen? I mean, I'm not complaining, but I fully expected I'd go and get the same "You are depressed, therefore everything else is due to that" attitude I've had previously.
