Principles for Sustainable Tech from the Archdruid Report. Now I want a slide rule!
Health Report transcript - ADHD in girls - from ABC.
elmyra rants about German social policy.
No Tinfoil Hats for Bees - the Independent made a bit of a muddle of the whole CCD story, and Treehugger points this out.
Fascist America, in 10 easy steps, in the Grauniad. Scary stuff if it's accurate, but I wonder how much of it is? Has anyone at the Grauniad actually read the laws as they are or are they running on hype stories instead? I know I haven't.
Nomad meditation stool. 750 grams. Nice. Shame it's 122 Euros. There is a pattern for making a simpler one, though.
Granite Gear Air Grocery Bag - lovely and lightweight at 40g, and it looks like it holds an awful lot, compared to most fold-up bags.
Apocalypse Now - an article on the Utopia Project, where I'll be spending some time later this year. I hope some of the interpersonal tensions have died down by then, but it's nice to know they aren't all moonies.
Last but not least, a couple of pretties from MAKE:
