403 suggests that my rash looks like early-stage Lyme disease. Investigation on Google shows that the things are damned variable at best. That's me off to the walk-in centre, then; Lyme disease is very treatable if caught early. It's actually a rather likely thing considering the amount of time I spend messing about in long grass and bushes and so on; ticks are not as prevalent here as in North America but blah.

So much for getting stuff done today. I hope they can see me soon enough that I don't have to cancel teaching or Aikido. No shortage of adventure in my life, blah blah blah.

Tick are aplenty here but you would have noticed had you had one. Still, checking rash = very good. Good luck.

My understanding is that most people who get bitten by ticks don't notice.
Thankfully it seems the rash was not caused by a tick at all.

Dunno about anyone else but so far everytime I've gotten one it itches like wake-me-from-sleep-crazy, which strikes me as a bit odd for something that wants to stay burrowed in my skin...
