No, NO and No! 'Furry' has another meaning, usually involving suppressed sniggering when anyone says 'machine washable'.

What are you trying to tell us? I mean Fretchen is furry in the conventional sense. And um...

Not that I think that's bad or anything :P

Hmm... that sounds like an obvious pairing, but I don't recall ever using it myself. I'll try it out and see how she likes it. :)

You forgot Ferret-chan. Or am I the only one who thinks that's the obvious mutation?

Why, is "-chan" a diminutive suffix in some language?

Japanese - used to address a small cute female.

Sorry, but Frettchen understands German and English only. I wouldn't want to confuse the poor thing with Japanese nicknames.

It's funny to see you not purple.

Yes. I'm getting used to it though.

If I could be purple again without bleaching the living daylights out of my poor hair, I'd do it in a second.

When I purpled my hair, I used the Stargazer dye which I just applied straight to my hair with no bleaching. It was a good, deep purple which easily covered my natural brown. I decided against making a habit of it because with the amount of hair I have it took two full bottles and most of an afternoon to apply the dye, and I couldn't be bothered to deal with that on a regular basis. I don't know how much time or money you were putting into dyeing your hair previously, but if Stargazer is comparable on those terms it might be one option.

The downside is that it is semi-permanent, and I found that it was at the low end of the range they quote for how long it lasts. That is to say, it was rather faded after only two or three washes, and there was nothing left but a slightly reddish tint after five or six. I'm sure this is partly because there are no truly mordant purples, and because I dyed unbleached hair. But the same problems would apply to you, so don't expect too much.
