It's raining quite hard outside.

There is a warm cat leaning against me and purring, licking my hand whenever I stop petting him to type.

Too bad he drools. ;)

My cat Terry was like that. She was a sweet and very sick cat. Very few spoons, poor thing, and therefore everybody including me took her for stupid. Anyway, she licked hands enthusiastically. Most people didn't like it, but I found it very sweet.

She didn't drool but had chronic gengivitis and DID smell.

Yes, cats are good. Quieter than human infants, that's for sure.
