Is there a list of maps of the internet somewhere? A sort of meta-map, if you will? There probably should be...

Here (http://www.cybergeography.org/atlas/) is a good start. I have a copy of the book, which is a fantastic coffee table read.

Peakcock maps (http://www.peacockmaps.com/) have some nice poster-sized maps of the Internet. Apparently a company called Lumeta (http://www.lumeta.com/research/) is carrying on the work the research - partly done by Bill Cheswick (http://www.cheswick.com/ches/map/index.html) - which produced those maps did.

Bill Cheswick has also produced this 13Mb MPEG which shows how the internet evolved over time (http://www.cheswick.com/ches/map/movie.mpeg).
