Exercises, exercises...
Oct. 10th, 2007 08:47 pmI'm considering joining Poplar Rowing Club. It's very nearby, cheap (£106 for the year for students), has a gym open 7am to 11pm any day of the week, and some other Trinity students are interested so it could help with the "getting more social at Trinity" thing.
I need to find out if this is suitable given the joint hypermobility that I have. My memories of using rowing machines are that they are relatively low-impact, and information on the intermunawebz0r also suggest that rowing is low-impact. I can swim, so I'm not likely to drown if I fall into theAnkh Thames.
Some Trinty students are going to have a look at the facilities on 18th October, after my horn lesson and before Aikido. I think I will go along and see what the place looks like.
Thoughts?
