Been thinking about getting a 'spare' lightbox for a while now; I'm keeping my old one at Trinity to use while I practise, but bringing it home on weekends etc. is something of a pain. Also it's not as bright as the newer ones, and it's noisy (newer ones are silent), and the newest one can run from a battery which would be handy at times.

So. The model I want is the Litebook Elite.

I can buy it in Saskatchewan (at London Drugs of all places) for CAD$199.99, or on eBay for £149, or from Litebook for USD$279.

Um.

Yeah, guesswhat? I think I buy one in Canadia and bring it back with me.

How have you got on with the light box, I've been toying with one but they're expensive. Was thinking of one of the wake up light alarm clocks, as I read somewhere that they're better than just a light, as it sets your body for the day.

Given that I'm leaving Vancouver in a few days if I decide to get one it would be a lot cheaper here.

Hugs. x

In winter, for me, the lightbox makes the difference between doing things and sitting inside feeling sorry for myself all day.

Going outside is still better, but I can't always do that before I have Other Stuff to do, and if the weather is crap and I'm already feeling a bit down (which I will be if it is winter) then my inclination to actually go outside is pretty low.

I'd quite like to try a sunrise-simulation alarm clock at some point.
