Jan. 28th, 2004 06:59 amIt appears to have tried to snow overnight. I think it should try harder. It didn't even settle properly on the cement. It might have another go later today, though, perhaps it is only getting warmed up. Or cooled down, or whatever it has to do to snow.
*sigh*

Date: 2004-01-27 11:26 pm (UTC)There is white on the roofs, more so than from just frost. But the roads are all, well, road-coloured. The grass looks like someone very cheap out powdered sugar on it.
I believe it'll all melt in a few hours. Perhaps more luck tomorrow.
I do not in any way mind frost... but I do mind when it goes below zero, then above, then below, and so on. *that* is what makes for dangerous slippery roads, not a proper spell of frost and a good pack of snow...

Date: 2004-01-29 08:10 am (UTC)b) I'm thinking of a certain idiot in a white BMW doing about 60, round a corner, skidding painfully close to crashing into other vehicles...
Idiots like THAT. Most people were sensible and kept their speeds low, and tried to drive coutiously and as well as they could.
c) Walking is good, just not with 5 1/2 thousand newpapers.
And it was beutiful :-)
