I don't think it's fair to call it 'musical abilities' because it doesn't measure rhythmic ability.

Morning!

I'm exhausted. I did sleep reasonably last night, but I'm still tired.

Academic
Countermelodies. Must write.

Secretarial
Must phone LA Fitness and find out just what their joining deals are at the moment.
Must organise computer scrapheap challenge for weekend [livejournal.com profile] martling is in Lodnon.
Must read more about Brighton Below and figure out if I can go.
Must phone Grennitch Market manager and get in touch with [livejournal.com profile] stortoise re: busking in December.

I have a [livejournal.com profile] hennes arriving on Thursday night. I also have a concert on Thursday night; I think I might only be playing first half, which would make life easier; I won't be able to meet [livejournal.com profile] hennes at Liverpool St. but being able to meet him at Island Gardens would be nice. It would be a rilly rilly good idea to tidy the loft before then but I'm not sure I'll manage it. Unfortunately there won't be a proper sofa bed because I don't have enough money yet; camp mattresses will have to do.

I believe [livejournal.com profile] becky_boingy will have some time off as well so it would be nice to see her (and give back her hairbrush!).

Need to schedule a horn lesson soon.

It's Brighton Below's floating market on Saturday night and I'd quite like to go ([livejournal.com profile] hennes will be elsewhere). I could take some old clothes and shoes I'd like rid of as well as running up some quick hairfalls. Perhaps others would like to join me?

Passport - important! Must find forms! Must print forms! Must fill out forms!

At least my bits of the Northern Line will be working this weekend.

Today
Go to Trinty, do werk, go to class, go see Student Services about strategies for getting access to competent medical advice, have something to eat, go to rehearsal. Home. Change sheets. Bed.

Tomorrow
Laundry (getting dire again), rehearsal. Dinner at The Pembury Tavern, HOORAY!

This week
Mostly, rehearsing.

Link
Just the one: Pro-Jump Stilts. Anyone know anything about these? [livejournal.com profile] flannelcat?

Hoping
-that my Canajan cashcard arrives this week, because I don't have it yet and haven't yet heard back from the bank about wire transfers.
I want to have a Dead Computer Resurrection/Swapmeet Party. The most likely good date will be Saturday, 9th December, in the afternoon (as many people have parties in the evening), and I'm trying to see if we can have The Pembury Tavern for it because they have a) free wifi (and ethernet too if you bring ethernet string) b) solid tables at which to work and c) by arrangement, probably enough light to actually be able to see what's going on.

Please comment here with lists of what bits you could bring and whether you think they work. Also list any tools, even really basic standard ones, that you'd be happy to bring. Also suggest any projects you think would be possible from the listed parts and what parts/tools would be needed to complete said projects. Working stuff gets priority for making stuff that works, broken stuff gets priority for weird technohippie art. Completed projects could be donated to charities, used as garden sculptures, used as real alive computers, and so on.

Please note that anything that you bring which does not get put to good use and/or claimed by someone, you have to take back home again. This is not a "Fill ewt's house with dead computers" party.

If you really really reaaaaaally want to do this but 9th of December can't possibly work, tell me what could work.
