I made a pair of fleece mittens on Sunday out of an old purple fleece that was a bit stained in places and doesn't fit me.

They've got nice long wrists to aid, um, having warm wrists. I've always had problems with making my coat sleeves match up with my mittens, see. The thumbs are a little narrow in fit compared to the palm/finger area of the mittens, but as the fabric is stretchy this is not a huge problem. The material is 75% polyester, 25% viscose.

I'd like £3 for them, plus postage if posting is happening, and as they're light I'm willing to post them pretty much anywhere.

I'll add pictures to this post later today, probably.

Any takers?
Tired today... nothing new I guess. Elbow feeling a little tender, the osteopath did a lot of work on that arm yesterday.

[livejournal.com profile] hairyears suggested I modify a thimble somehow for use with my PDA to prevent strain from holding the very thin stylus. I may well do just that; it would be easy enough with a cheap plastic thimble and some other bits I have lying around, and if it works well I could upgrade to a metal thimble.

Handbag currently feeling a bit heavy; will have to do a cull soon. Less paper, methinks.

Menu quote today is, 'You will remember something that you should not have forgotten.' Yes. Um. I forgot the hairfalls I was meant to bring.

Mushroom risotto is wonderful though!
