Anyone have a DC 10V 900mA adapter? UK plug and voltage input please. I have some little JVC speakers that want one - they'll run off batteries, but I don't know how long they run on a set of six AAs (yes I know I could figure this out from the above but I can't be bothered so hah) and I'm thinking recharging the batteries all the time might get a bit old (although I'd be willing to do it if I had enough sun to use my solar charger, and could get all six batteries in it!). I got the speakers in a second-hand shop without an adapter. They have reasonable sound, so if I can get an adapter I'd quite like to do so.

With the departure of the larger CD/tape/radio thing I've got more shelfspace than before, yay. Now I can put books on it, or take some things off my desk, or something. Also I can start using the pillowspeaker at night if I fancy it, and next-door flatmate Amy has a CD/tape/radio thing so she can listen to music.

So tonight, instead of writing an essay like a good little ewt, I am cleaning my room like a good little ewt. Except, I haven't finished yet and I'm starting to run out of steam. Oops. Naughty ewt. Still, I tell myself, some progress is better than no progress.

This place desperately needs hoovering. If I can get the floors clear enough to hoover, even if I just do middles, it will make it look MUCH MUCH BETTER.

10V? that's a bit of an awkward amount. You could try what 9V does - chances are big that it'll work, considering that it needs 6 AA batteries (at 1.5V,
for a grand result of 9V straight out of the package). 9V is a somewhat more standard voltage. As for the current: it doesn't hurt if the PS can deliver more.
