There wasn't much global warming until the Industrial Revolution, so the stuff that was representative of 1750 was representative until 1870 or so.

More to the point, how is the 2006 model to be attached? Suckers? And can this trend be extrapolated more than a few years into the future without going into negative values? Inquiring minds want to know!
