Office-alikes for MacOS
Jan. 2nd, 2007 08:15 pmLooking for a free software wossname package that will do spreadsheets, read Word documents, and so on.
Yes, I could use Google documents for a lot of it, but I want to save some things locally and be able to work on them whilst on trains, and the internet isn't quite that ubiquitous just yet.
Suggestions? Warnings?

Date: 2007-01-02 08:58 pm (UTC)I do all my 'serious' writing with a decent text editor and LaTeX, however, so I can't claim to be a huge user of Word or its Open Office equivalent -- I normally only use Word documents at work when I have to collaborate on proposals and suchlike with non-LaTeX users.
