My early night last night turned into rather a late one. I slept quite a while this morning though.

I've come downstairs now because I'm irrevocably awake and I want to let Sleeping Beauty catch some more Zs.

One of the sofa cushions slipped away in the night and now my back is very sore indeed. I will do my exercises, which will help, and try to not really carry anything.

Lurgy so far feels much better but I still have a nasty cough. Also, I haven't tried to do anything remotely strenuous; I'll see what happens when I go for a bit of a walk later, before deciding whether I'm fit to go gallivanting about. I don't want to end up feeling ill when I'm teaching tomorrow.

Not sure if you've already come across stuff like specially made foam wedges, but that might be something useful long-term to avoid having to carry the sofa cushions about each night.

I was looking around Cosyfeet in search of warm + bed socks where I came across those things and thought ooh Ewt might want to know about them, but £44 = lots for a piece of foam.
